Medical Director, Home Healthcare – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Serve as the designated Physician leader in accordance with California Title 22

• Take an active role in the Quality Management program

• Participate in quarterly QAPI meetings to assess clinical outcomes and patient safety data

• Perform occasional chart reviews to verify that documentation aligns with medical necessity

• Evaluate and approve clinical protocols and treatment guidelines

• Offer remote support to the Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) regarding complex cases

• Supervise clinical operations for two Home Healthcare Agencies based in California

• Ensure that medical services are integrated, safe, and compliant with state regulations

• Emphasize high-level quality management instead of direct primary care

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted California Physician's License (MD or DO)

• Knowledge of California Title 22

• Understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs)

• Candidate must possess their own malpractice insurance

• Familiarity or experience in Home Healthcare
