Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of medical affairs across the portfolio, establishing benchmarks and developing the team.

• Deliver strategic medical leadership and counsel for project teams.

• Provide expert medical and scientific advice throughout the lifecycle of projects.

• Ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in medical and safety monitoring activities.

• Act as a representative of the Medical Affairs Department in business development efforts.

• Offer operational oversight within the Medical Affairs Department as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a specialization in a relevant therapeutic area.

• Demonstrated history of medical leadership and advisory roles in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.

• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory obligations and ethical standards in clinical research.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to represent the department effectively.

• Proven ability to manage operations in the absence of senior management.

• Willingness to travel as necessary (approximately 10%).

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
