Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated elements of medical policies and programs

• Conduct medical reviews

• Engage with provider communities within assigned regions

• Complete electronic records for case reviews

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Doctor (M.D. or D.O.) holding a current and unrestricted physician license in a U.S. state or territory

• Maintain Board Certification from a specialty board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties, National Board of Physicians and Surgeons, or the Advisory Board of Osteopathic Specialists

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience

• Strong analytical and communication abilities

• Capable of strategic thinking

• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes, for electronic case review documentation

• Preferred: 3 years of experience in Managed Care

• Preferred specialty areas: Rheumatology, Neurology, Oncology, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
