This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Respond to a large volume of incoming patient calls in a remote call center setting.
• Actively listen and show empathy while addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and billing issues.
• Assess caller needs and identify the appropriate resolution path based on client-specific guidelines, workflows, and service standards.
• Collect information, resolve issues when feasible, and perform necessary follow-up actions.
• Send emails, gather additional information, and return calls to ensure complete resolution.
• Investigate issues by reviewing account information, contacting third parties, or acquiring additional documentation.
• Make outbound calls, send emails, or fax requested information as needed.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of calls and actions in the patient account system.
• Safeguard patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and standards.
• Achieve or surpass established daily targets.
• Effectively manage workload in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Foster a positive team culture and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Proficient in computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of insurance billing is advantageous; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM with accuracy.
• Capability to remain composed under pressure and in high-volume or challenging situations.
• Competence in managing a heavy workload efficiently while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Ability to conduct sensitive conversations professionally and maintain a positive company image during phone interactions.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and call handling.
• Proficient in multitasking, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to independently oversee all aspects of the role, including achieving required goals and adhering to business practices, in a remote setting.
