Medical Billing Specialist – ENG

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete billing cycle from the submission of claims to the receipt of final payments.

• Monitor and handle unpaid invoices, follow up on pending claims, and address collection challenges.

• Analyze denied claims, pinpoint errors or necessary modifications, and resubmit claims with the correct adjustments.

• Oversee tasks related to claim resubmission and corrections, ensuring accuracy and implementing necessary changes.

• Record billing activities in accordance with regulatory standards and compliance requirements, including HIPAA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in medical billing with knowledge of RCM and A/R processes.

• Familiarity with managing claim denials and collections processes.

• Excellent command of English communication, both in writing and speaking.

• Skilled in using virtual office tools, EHR systems, and communication platforms.

• Strong customer service orientation and critical thinking abilities.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the significance of maintaining patient data confidentiality.

• Effective problem-solving skills and capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Availability to work within US time zones (PST, EST, CST).

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum internet speed requirement of 25 Mbps or higher, along with a dependable backup connection.

• Intel Core i5 7th Generation or higher (or equivalent).

• 8 GB RAM.

• 256 GB SSD or HDD with at least 50% free space available.

• Webcam with a resolution of 720p or higher.

• Operating system Windows 10 or later (or equivalent).

• Noise-canceling headphones or headset.
