Medical Biller – End-to-End RCM, Physical Therapy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Work from an Accounts Receivable (AR) report and manage claims for commercial, workers' compensation, personal injury, and government payers through to completion using payer portals and phone communication.

• Handle claims from start to finish without escalating them to other teams or departments.

• Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and record payments.

• Address issues related to non-payment and underpayment.

• Submit appeals and reconsiderations as necessary.

• Follow up on the status of claims.

• Liaise with clinics regarding absent patient information.

• Conduct insurance verification and obtain authorization.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals.

• Manage communications via email or text.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).

• Demonstrated expertise in billing practices for commercial, government, and PIP payers.

• Experience in managing AR reports and resolving pending claims.

• Familiarity with reading EOBs, recording payments, addressing non-payment and underpayment concerns, submitting appeals, and filing reconsiderations.

• Capability to communicate directly with insurance representatives and resolve claims effectively.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and independently manage billing responsibilities.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent English communication skills.

• Collaborative mindset, with a positive attitude and openness to feedback.

• Relevant prior work experience.

• Proficiency in speaking and writing in English in a clear and professional manner.

• Must present an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance prior to onboarding.

• Availability for video meetings with the camera on as required.

• Access to a reliable laptop or desktop computer.

• Consistent high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps.

• Noise-canceling headset.

• Functional webcam for virtual meetings.

• A quiet and professional work setting.

• Experience in medical billing for a physical therapy practice is preferred.

• Prior experience with insurance verification and authorization is preferred.

• Proficiency with Prompt EMR is advantageous but not mandatory.
