Medical Biller, CPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Determine payment outcomes for claims based on CPT codes and specific claim situations.

• Assess claims related to emergency services, ambulance services, air ambulance, and non-air ambulance.

• Confirm and validate claim information, subsequently identifying the correct course of action.

• Manage claims and cases within the organization’s internal database/system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active and up-to-date CPC or CPC-A certification is required.

• Prior experience handling appeals is necessary.

• In-depth knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) is essential.

• Familiarity with coding and billing for emergency services, ambulance services, air ambulance, and non-air ambulance is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Comprehensive understanding of coding and insurance regulations is required.

• Experience in either professional services or facilities is necessary.

• Availability from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST is a must.
