Medical Biller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive revenue cycle activities, encompassing transactions, accounts receivable, coding, reconciliations, denials, and appeals.

• Navigate through federal, state, and payer websites to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.

• Investigate coding and billing criteria to guarantee precise submissions.

• Work collaboratively across various departments to address customer needs and align with organizational objectives.

• Engage in committee work, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to training programs.

• Evaluate workflows and suggest optimal practices utilizing NextGen PM.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing.

• At least 2 years of experience with NextGen.

• Knowledge of clearinghouses and healthcare portals.

• Strong understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Capability to work independently while achieving productivity targets.

• Access to Cable or Fiber Internet with a minimum download speed of 20 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps.

• Availability Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional evenings or weekends.
