Media Relations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gaining recognition and visibility for our initiatives—swiftly

• Developing and presenting engaging media pitches related to case launches, legal decisions, and other significant news events

• Arranging interviews and media appearances for PLF attorneys and other representatives

• Keeping track of the news cycle to spot chances to highlight PLF’s efforts in relation to current events

• Establishing and nurturing strong connections with editorial contacts at major media organizations

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in earned media (e.g., pitching, booking, journalism, PR); a background in broadcast journalism is advantageous.

• Outstanding communication abilities, particularly in simplifying complex concepts into clear, persuasive pitches

• A keen sense for news and the quick instincts to capitalize on emerging opportunities

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work efficiently, and meet deadlines promptly

• Familiarity with or experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is beneficial

• Experience with project management software in a collaborative environment (we utilize Asana) is a plus
