📋 Description

• Media Buying and Investment Strategy: Research, assess, and implement media plans for substantial agency clients, ensuring efficient and precise execution through both direct management and team delegation. Identify opportunities for strategic growth, optimization, and campaign enhancement—especially for our most significant and intricate accounts. Act as a subject matter expert in at least one key area of the TV/audio/programmatic landscape, aiding team education and operational processes.

• Campaign Performance: Supervise daily and overarching campaign delivery across various channels, ensuring that strategies are properly executed, errors are minimized, and objectives are met.

• Collaboration: Engage with network partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution, solve moderately complex issues, and foster innovative thinking with a solutions-oriented approach.

• Partner Engagement: Maintain reliable and consistent knowledge of TV, audio, and display trends through educational sessions with publishers and independent research, using insights to make informed media recommendations and encourage knowledge sharing among colleagues. Exhibit strong investment in external relationships at the sales level with moderate to large networks, regularly communicating new information and specifics to our agency, advocating for our needs, and preserving robust connections with these valued partners.

• Media Negotiation: Assess partner materials and negotiate media plans and costs for both performance campaigns and upper funnel/brand efforts, demonstrating a clear ability to evaluate new offerings and determine the value of media opportunities for your clients. Leverage your general understanding of the broader media landscape to contextualize media opportunities and their potential, using that knowledge and your partner relationships to secure competitive costs and terms.

• Team Projects: Responsible for moderately complex projects that significantly impact the Media Investment department, showcasing your adaptability and creativity in enhancing our operations with clients and media partners alike.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in a media agency or publishing environment, with an emphasis on media buying in linear TV, OTT, digital audio, and/or display advertising.

• Proven success in leveraging partner relationships and industry expertise to negotiate and implement high-value media opportunities, along with established ongoing relationships with key media sales representatives in the industry.

• Direct hands-on experience with industry platforms (DSPs, research tools).

• Fundamental knowledge of incrementality testing, in-channel and cross-channel measurement solutions and best practices (e.g., MMM, ghost bidding, conversion lift).

• Demonstrated organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through, alongside a proven capacity to oversee processes and quality assurance of the team's deliverables.

• Self-driven with a passion for learning, inquisitiveness, and thriving in a collaborative environment.

• Working knowledge of strategic marketing and communication skills to promote new media opportunities both internally and directly with clients.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong business writing and presentation abilities.

• Excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks against tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with data/audience collaboration tools such as LiveRamp and third-party ad servers like Flashtalking is a plus.
