Mechanical Gas Turbine Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance for the acquisition of gas turbines and related equipment.

• Aid in factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, and performance verification processes.

• Execute quality inspections and technical evaluations of gas turbines and associated components.

• Liaise with factory engineers, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

• Compile technical documentation and inspection reports.

• Recognize opportunities for technical and quality enhancements, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.

• Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues during manufacturing, testing, and commissioning phases.

• Travel both domestically and internationally may be necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with gas turbines (required).

• Solid professional background in mechanical engineering, power generation, or related domains.

• Proficiency in English at a business level.

• Capability to communicate efficiently with manufacturers, suppliers, and project teams.

• Practical experience with GE gas turbines (preferred).

• Background in procurement, factory acceptance testing, commissioning, quality control, or maintenance (preferred).

• Familiarity with power generation projects and gas turbine package equipment (preferred).

• Knowledge of international quality standards and inspection methodologies (preferred).
