This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Review, maintain, correct, and enter data across all modules of the Shipboard Automated Maintenance Manager (SAMM).
β’ Analyze and assess Diesel Engine Performance Analysis (DEPA) data.
β’ Provide trends and results along with recommendations for corrective actions to TYCOM and ship's force through monthly and event-driven reports.
β’ Deliver a quarterly DRS Report to the lead In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) that outlines reliability metrics for DRS modules, indicating compliance.
β’ Offer technical oversight onboard for diesel engines and their associated systems.
β’ Conduct forensic analyses of failed diesel engines and components to identify the root cause(s) of failures.
β’ Provide on-site technical personnel to deliver direct fleet support for US Navy propulsion and power generation.
β’ Offer shipboard technical assistance for alterations, modifications, and upgrades to US Navy propulsion and power generation systems and equipment.
β’ Develop and implement training curricula and examinations based on current fleet issues/events, technical documents, maintenance standards, personnel qualification standards (PQS), and PMS requirements.
β’ Offer technical support for US Navy DRS Lube Oil, Fuel Oil, and Jacket Water Fluid Quality Management programs.
β’ Update technical documentation, conduct failure analyses and investigations, and evaluate test kits, including the procurement of test kits and sample bottles.
β’ Provide engineering and program support for the DRS related to Propulsion, Power, and Diesel Engine Systems during program reviews, technical meetings, and Navy Ownerβs Group meetings.
β’ Organize, manage, and facilitate meetings while handling all logistical arrangements.
β’ Must be a U.S. Citizen with the capacity to obtain security clearance.
β’ An active high-level Security Clearance is mandatory, and a current Security Clearance is preferred.
β’ Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED.
β’ Minimum Work Experience: 5 years of experience as a US Navy Engineman in diesel propulsion and power generating systems.
β’ Experience should include prior certification as a US Navy Fleet Diesel Engine Inspector (DEI).
β’ Candidates should have experience with the Shipboard Automated Maintenance Manager (SAMM), conducting DOCTOR Diesel Engine Performance Analyses (DEPAs), reviewing DOCTOR data, and providing technical recommendations to rectify out-of-parameter conditions.
β’ Occasional limited travel may be necessary to CONUS and OCONUS Naval facilities.
β’ Customer approval and acceptance along with clearance of the required background check.
