This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee project(s) that involve engineers, designers, controls, and scheduling professionals engaged in the design, modification, and assessment of new and existing nuclear power plant modifications.
• Coordinate with various internal and external departments to manage the entire project execution life cycle.
• Accountable for project delivery and resource coordination across all disciplines as needed.
• Assume responsibility for all facets of project performance, including safety, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and client satisfaction throughout the project's life cycle.
• Lead and guide the project team to ensure accountability.
• Mentor and provide guidance to team members.
• Cultivate and sustain positive working relationships with client task engineers and stakeholders.
• Direct initiatives to guarantee that projects are completed safely, satisfactorily, on schedule, and within budget.
• Assist in reporting key performance indicators related to schedule, budget, and other dashboard metrics.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks.
• Recognize, monitor, and manage changes effectively.
• Communicate and consult with relevant stakeholders and supervisors.
• Prepare reports and studies that convey technical information clearly and concisely, adhering to client specifications and Sargent & Lundy formats.
• Analyze challenges and propose solutions to enhance outcomes.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Over 10 years of experience in a technical domain (engineering, construction, planning, etc.).
• More than 5 years of experience serving as a liaison between the firm and clients in either a support or leading capacity.
• Essential ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to work within a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in schedule development and management.
• Experience in budget management.
• Preferred but not mandatory skills and experience: Construction management or a management/business degree.
• Engineering design experience is advantageous.
• PMP Certification is a plus.
• MBA is a plus.
• Experience in writing proposals is a plus.
