This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Developing and designing Heat Rejection and HVAC systems specifically for data centers.
• Selecting suitable air/water side cooling systems for data centers.
• Conducting internal CFD simulations to enhance airflow distribution and ensure effective cooling.
• Designing HVAC systems with redundancy and fault-tolerant characteristics.
• Performing heat load calculations for data centers to ascertain cooling requirements.
• Implementing energy-efficient strategies in HVAC design.
• Ensuring optimal air quality and maintaining suitable filtration systems.
• Collaborating with electrical and mechanical engineers for system integration.
• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalence in experience and/or education.
• Experience in the installation and operation of mechanical and electrical equipment in data centers.
• P.E. registration is mandatory.
• Familiarity with data center TER Standard Topology as per Uptime Institute, TIA 942, ANSI/BICSI 002.
• Professional certifications related to HVAC engineering, such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP), or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation, are preferred.
