Mechanical Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Produce AutoCAD and CADworx installation specifications, panel layouts, and equipment/instrument wiring diagrams for pipeline and facility projects.

• Create CAD designs from broad instructions to meticulously completed deliverables.

• Collaborate with Drafters to prepare and compile project outputs.

• Implement file organization, specifications, industry norms, and client requirements in assigned projects.

• Collect field notes, survey data, design details, vendor information, and engineering schematics.

• Establish sheets, title blocks, notes, and details as components of drawing packages.

• Utilize typical site layouts for meter, regulation, valve, and compression equipment.

• Incorporate annotations and dimensions into plot plans, details, and schematics.

• Leverage 3D modeling software tools to create facility project designs.

• Generate 2D drawings based on 3D model references.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of extensive experience with AutoCAD and CADworx.

• An associate degree or completion of relevant technical school courses, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Capacity to independently manage workload.

• Ability to oversee a small design team and deliver results.

• Capability to remain focused and finish projects within budget.

• Strong attention to detail.
