Math Instructor – FT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.

📋 Description

• Teach small "core" groups of students in their fundamental math skills.

• Monitor student advancement through Vanguard’s distinctive multi-phase curriculum.

• Demonstrate professionalism and strong organizational abilities in both communication and lesson management.

• Lead the creation of lesson plans and curriculum development.

• Guide middle and high school students throughout the college application journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or a related STEM discipline (Master’s or above preferred; entry-level candidates are welcome).

• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in math and/or experience in a college-level tutoring center.

• A GPA of 3.5 or above.

• Competence in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Google Suites.

• Availability of a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace with minimal distractions.

• Experience teaching at the college or community college level.

• Strong understanding of classroom pedagogy.

• Capability to design tailored, engaging lesson plans.
