This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions for individuals seeking to conceive or those in the perinatal phase, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Manage a clinical caseload of 25–35 clients, tailored to program requirements and administrative responsibilities.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and adheres to compliance standards.
• Assist with screening, intake, and assessments to facilitate appropriate placement and prompt access to care.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatry and other disciplines to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Offer crisis management and stabilization support as needed.
• Engage in interdisciplinary MMH program rounds, contributing to discussions surrounding cases, treatment strategies, and program enhancements.
• Partner with leadership to identify and tackle trends, obstacles, and opportunities for program expansion.
• Create and facilitate internal training on perinatal and reproductive mental health topics.
• Develop and present educational content, workshops, or support groups aimed at community involvement.
• Represent the MMH program at both internal and external events.
• Advocate for maternal mental health both within the organization and in the wider community.
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline.
• Current California licensure as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist.
• At least two years of post-license experience in behavioral health, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), or Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP).
• Excellent proactive and responsive communication skills with clients and internal teams.
• Proficiency in EHR systems, Zoom, Google Suite, and Dayforce.
• Postpartum Support International PMH-C certification is highly preferred; candidates lacking PMH-C should have substantial focused experience in providing mental health care during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
