This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver individual and group therapy to clients who are either trying to conceive or are in the perinatal phase, utilizing evidence-based methods.
• Manage a clinical caseload of 25–35 clients, adjusting based on program requirements and administrative responsibilities.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and adheres to compliance standards.
• Assist with screening, intake, and assessments to ensure suitable matches and prompt access to care.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatry and other disciplines to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Offer crisis management and stabilization services as required.
• Engage in interdisciplinary MMH program rounds, case discussions, treatment planning, and program enhancement initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to identify and tackle trends, obstacles, and opportunities for program expansion.
• Design and conduct internal training on perinatal and reproductive mental health topics.
• Create and deliver client-facing educational materials, workshops, or support groups to foster community engagement.
• Represent the MMH program at both internal and external functions.
• Advocate for maternal mental health both within the organization and in the broader community.
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline.
• Postpartum Support International PMH-C certification is highly preferred; applicants lacking this certification should have substantial focused experience in providing mental health care to individuals during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
• Current California licensure as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in the behavioral health sector.
• Experience in IOP or PHP settings.
• Excellent communication skills, including proactive and responsive interaction with clients and internal teams.
• Proficiency in EHR systems, Zoom, Google Suite, and Dayforce.
