This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Become a seafarer with CSM Rijeka.

• Ensure the overall command of the ship and the safety of both crew and cargo.

• Adhere to all regulatory and company standards.

• Strategically plan and carry out efficient voyages.

• Oversee cargo operations.

• Lead the crew and conduct safety drills.

• Manage emergencies and maintain necessary documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Assume overall command of the ship, ensuring the safety of crew, cargo, and environmental protection.

• Guarantee compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

• Efficiently plan and execute voyages.

• Oversee cargo operations including loading, stowage, securing, and discharge.

• Lead the crew, enforce safety protocols, and conduct drills.

• Manage emergencies while maintaining all documentation and reporting.

• Possess a valid Certificate of Competency (COC) as per STCW Regulation II/2 with verification.

• Hold valid STCW certifications necessary for this role.

• Experience in a multicultural work environment.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Possess a safety-oriented culture and mindset.

• Minimum of 9 months of experience in rank on a similar type/size vessel.
