This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Educate individuals and families about the coverage options available on Healthcare.gov, including the benefits and limitations of different plans.
• Assist clients in navigating the Healthcare.gov platform by explaining the application process and eligibility criteria.
• Support clients in applying for subsidies and other financial assistance programs designed to reduce their insurance costs.
• Conduct outreach initiatives to raise awareness of Healthcare.gov and promote enrollment, particularly within underserved communities.
• Keep precise records of all client interactions while ensuring compliance with privacy and data security protocols.
• Remain informed about Healthcare.gov policies, changes in enrollment periods, and updates to the program.
• Engage in community events and information sessions to inform the public about Healthcare.gov and available health insurance options.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social service agencies, and other community partners to facilitate enrollment.
• At least 10 years of direct experience as a Healthcare.gov Navigator or in a similar role, with a comprehensive understanding of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Health Insurance Marketplace.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, healthcare navigation, benefits administration, or case management.
• Certification as a Healthcare.gov Navigator (if mandated by state or federal regulations).
• Extensive knowledge of the enrollment process, subsidy calculations, and the healthcare options offered on Healthcare.gov.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience working in a dynamic, service-oriented environment.
• Capability to perform prolonged sitting and computer work.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive medical information appropriately.
• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management systems (e.g., Salesforce and Tableau), workforce management tools, Google Workplace, Slack, and basic use of Microsoft Office Suite.
