• The Marketplace Director is accountable to the Executive Director of the East/West Cellular Therapy Team for the overall business performance within a specified regional marketplace.
• Take ownership of regional business outcomes by spearheading the development, implementation, and assessment of integrated territory strategies.
• Set regional priorities and coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure cohesive execution.
• Lead the team in identifying Drivers and Barriers within complex marketplace environments to create customized, strategic account plans.
• Oversee the regional approach to Key Account Management across Advanced Therapies Centers (ATC) and Community in collaboration with Market Access, Medical, Marketing, and other key stakeholders.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with significant decision-makers and influencers.
• Enhance performance management by articulating expectations, conducting timely mid-year and annual reviews, and providing continual feedback.
• Manage regional demand generation through coordinated customer engagement initiatives targeting ATC and community segments.
• Assist market access account teams in assessing and formulating strategic plans for expanding the ATC footprint.
• Ensure all activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• PhD with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience.
• 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors, specifically in Hematology/Rare Disease.
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing teams.
• Extensive expertise in hematology/oncology clinical settings, operations, and account management (both academic and community).
• Proven capabilities in performance management, coaching, and talent development.
• Documented success in meeting business objectives and leading within matrix organizations.
• Exceptional skills in strategic thinking, negotiation, communication, and influence.
• Thorough understanding of compliance, regulatory standards, and ethical business practices.
