Marketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of marketing campaigns aimed at increasing enrollment, awareness, and engagement.

• Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external partners to produce campaign assets across various channels.

• Help develop messaging and marketing content that aligns with school value propositions and the needs of the audience.

• Aid earned media agencies in executing local and regional awareness initiatives.

• Work closely with creative, product, and school teams to ensure the accuracy of campaign materials.

• Utilize market research insights to shape campaign positioning and execution.

• Assist in A/B testing and document the results and insights gained.

• Monitor and compile data on website traffic, leads, conversions, and other marketing metrics.

• Maintain records for campaign plans, timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.

• Support the launch of new products through cross-functional coordination and asset creation.

• Communicate promptly and accurately with stakeholders under the guidance of senior team members.

• Enhance knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.

• Stay updated on trends in K–12 education and digital marketing.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, whether through professional work or internships, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to adhere to processes and manage assigned tasks with direction.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Eagerness to learn new tools, platforms, and marketing concepts.

• High standards for accuracy, quality, and accountability.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.

• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented environment.

• Proficient presentation skills and ability to utilize technology effectively.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

• Must pass a required background check.

• Interest or experience in K–12 education or edtech is preferred.

• Previous experience collaborating with cross-functional remote teams is a plus.

• Desired skills include strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

• No specific certificates or licenses are required.
