This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Act as the marketing liaison for designated business units and hold regular meetings with key leaders within those units.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders and marketing management to create marketing strategies.
• Produce marketing materials such as broadcast emails, brochures, one-pagers, advertisements, contests, incentives, internal communications, website content, social media updates, trade show displays, and audio/visual presentations.
• Review and edit content prior to final approval.
• Adhere to marketing and compliance review protocols to secure approvals and meet legal, regulatory, and branding standards.
• Support the design and implementation of custom surveys to evaluate campaign success.
• Execute administrative tasks including list management, inbox oversight, internal project management/project sharing, and routine external communications.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service abilities for both internal and external clients.
• Effective time management and prioritization capabilities.
• Competence in managing multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to work autonomously, as part of a team, and in a self-driven manner.
• Familiarity with PCs in a Windows environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Competence in analyzing problems and creating solutions.
• Capability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications, or equivalent education, training, and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a marketing role.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
• Understanding of design capabilities and options for online content presentation.
• Experience with best practices in marketing and communications, including social media, content creation and management, marketing analytics, media relations, advertising, trade shows, and meetings/events.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, including adherence to AP Style Guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of the life insurance sector and the ability to clarify fundamental industry terminology.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.
• Advanced understanding of marketing automation tools and customer relationship management systems, along with strategic campaign development.
• Willingness and capability to host virtual events using company software, such as Webex, and to develop innovative methods for enhancing interaction and attendee engagement.
• Experience with Marketo is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Previous marketing experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Crump, its carriers, business partners, and affiliates is preferred.
