This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Oversee projects to guarantee efficient and effective management and development of marketing materials aligned with business goals.
• Act as the primary marketing liaison for designated Crump business units.
• Create and manage annual marketing strategies and plans.
• Maintain a consistent meeting schedule with key leaders from business units.
• Produce marketing materials including broadcast emails, brochures, one-pagers, advertisements, contests and incentives, internal communications, website content, social media posts, trade show exhibits, and audio/visual presentations.
• Review and edit content prior to final approval.
• Adhere to marketing and compliance review processes to secure necessary approvals while meeting legal, regulatory, and branding standards.
• Assist in designing and implementing custom surveys to evaluate campaign success.
• Conduct administrative tasks such as list management, inbox oversight, internal project management/project sharing, and routine external communications.
• Facilitate virtual events using company platforms like Webex and generate ideas to boost interaction and attendee involvement.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Effective time management and prioritization capabilities.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to work independently, collaboratively in a team, and self-directed.
• Proficient with PCs in a Windows environment.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to analyze challenges and formulate solutions.
• Capability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications, or equivalent education, training, and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a marketing position.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Ability to foster relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
• Understanding of design capabilities and online content presentation alternatives.
• Familiarity with marketing and communications best practices, including social media, content creation and management, marketing analytics, media relations, advertising, trade shows, and event planning.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with knowledge of and adherence to AP Style Guidelines.
• Basic understanding of the life insurance industry and the capacity to explain fundamental industry terminology.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.
• Advanced knowledge of marketing automation tools and customer relationship management systems, along with strategic campaign development.
• Willingness and capability to host virtual events using designated company software, including Webex, and to contribute creative ideas for enhancing interaction and attendee engagement.
• Experience with Marketo is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
• Prior marketing experience in the insurance sector is preferred.
• Knowledge of Crump, its carriers, business partners, and affiliates is preferred.
