This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Management of International and National Congresses for Business Units focused on Complement-Mediated Diseases, Haematology, and Haemophilia.
• Congress and Event Management: oversee the planning, organization, and execution of all facets of congress participation; collaborate with internal teams (such as medical and marketing) and international congress management to ensure compliance with industry regulations and alignment; maintain relationships with external vendors.
• Budget Management: create and oversee the congress budget, ensuring resources are utilized cost-effectively; track expenses and provide consistent financial reports to senior management; negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain advantageous terms.
• Stakeholder Engagement: act as the main point of contact for healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other stakeholders attending the congress; guarantee effective communication and collaboration among all involved parties.
• Compliance and Reporting: ensure all congress activities adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards; keep accurate records of congress activities, including attendee lists.
• Contract Management: develop, coordinate, implement, and document contract processes; serve as a backup for other members of the contract management team when necessary.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Event Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in congress or event management, project coordination, or a comparable role.
• Experience in budget management and financial reporting.
• Skills in contract management and vendor negotiations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of compliance requirements within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sectors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
