This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, test, schedule, and launch email marketing campaigns utilizing platforms such as Informz, Constant Contact, Rasa, and Mailchimp.
• Generate and disseminate newsletters, announcements, CEO updates, member communications, and operational marketing messages.
• Implement campaigns focused on membership recruitment, retention, welcome, renewal, win-back, and lapsed-member initiatives.
• Assist with marketing promotions for webinars, conferences, certifications, and educational events.
• Design and distribute award nomination campaigns, board election communications, surveys, and advocacy alerts.
• Develop and manage campaign assets using pre-approved templates and content.
• Plan and publish organic social media content across various channels.
• Create social graphics and marketing materials using Canva and approved brand templates.
• Oversee content calendars and posting schedules.
• Facilitate digital advertising operations, including resizing creatives, managing campaign traffic, and deployment.
• Set up and maintain marketing automation workflows.
• Manage audience segmentation, distribution lists, and campaign databases.
• Construct automated member journeys, including welcome series, renewal sequences, certification reminders, and event promotion workflows.
• Aid in the creation of landing pages, form setups, and updates to website content.
• Document and standardize repeatable marketing processes.
• Handle tasks assigned through Jira Service Management and other workflow tools.
• Monitor ticket queues, provide status updates, and escalate risks as needed.
• Adhere to quality assurance, testing, and approval procedures prior to deployment.
• Generate operational marketing reports and performance dashboards.
• Analyze email, campaign, social media, and automation performance metrics.
• Supply send-level data and execution reporting to client-facing marketing teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation to minimize repetitive tasks.
• Support knowledge transfer, documentation, SOP development, and process standardization.
• Engage in training and adoption of new marketing technologies, AI tools, and operational workflows.
• Contribute to the advancement of SAS’s marketing operations function.
• 2–5 years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, email marketing, association marketing, or campaign execution.
• Proficiency with marketing automation and email marketing platforms.
• Experience in supporting multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
• Experience with Canva and social media publishing platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Excellent written communication and proofreading abilities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Capability to follow documented processes and execute tasks consistently.
• Experience in analyzing campaign metrics and performance data.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Flexibility and eagerness to adopt new technologies, automation tools, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Preferred experience in associations, nonprofits, AMC, agencies, or membership organizations.
• Experience in a ticket-based workflow environment is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
