This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +4 more states.
• Act as the primary Marketo administrator, ensuring optimal platform performance, governance, and operational excellence.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable marketing automation programs and workflows.
• Oversee the health of the Marketo database, email deliverability, campaign operations, and platform monitoring.
• Configure, sustain, and troubleshoot integrations between Marketo and other connected marketing technologies.
• Automate recurring marketing processes utilizing tools such as Openprise.
• Establish governance standards, including naming conventions, folder structures, documentation, and version control.
• Collaborate with Marketing Strategy, Sales Operations, RevOps, and Data teams to ensure reliable marketing processes and successful campaign execution.
• Offer technical guidance for campaign assets, including email templates, landing pages, and forms.
• Design, create, and optimize campaigns, engagement programs, lead nurturing, segmentation, scoring models, and lifecycle programs.
• Maintain a scalable marketing technology architecture.
• Assess emerging marketing automation capabilities and recommend tools or enhancements.
• Train and mentor stakeholders on Marketo best practices and platform functionalities.
• Propel automation initiatives and continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, improve data quality, and facilitate measurable business outcomes.
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Marketo certification(s).
• 4+ years of experience with Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in email deliverability, lead lifecycle management, scoring, segmentation, and nurture programs.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple work streams under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum process management methodologies.
• Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or high-tech environment.
• Capability to train and mentor teams on marketing automation best practices.
• Experience in optimizing and scaling marketing automation systems within a growth environment.
• Experience integrating Marketo within a broader RevOps infrastructure.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and process improvement abilities.
• Experience managing integrations between marketing automation systems, CRM systems like Salesforce, and other data sources.
• Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and JavaScript or similar technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex campaign logic and data flows.
