Marketing Operations Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Scheduling & Resource Management

• Take ownership of weekly scheduling across various delivery teams

• Distribute tasks among WordPress, SEO, and paid media functions

• Manage priorities and workloads effectively

• Ensure that the appropriate personnel are assigned to the correct tasks

• WordPress Project Coordination

• Oversee all WordPress support and development projects

• Manage ticket flow and project schedules

• Collaborate with developers to guarantee sustained progress

• Follow up on obstacles and overdue items

• Assist in maintaining multiple projects concurrently

• Internal Meetings & Team Management

• Participate in internal team meetings and stand-ups

• Document actions and next steps

• Hold team members responsible for meeting agreed deadlines

• Ensure clear communication across the organization

• Time Tracking & Reporting

• Gather and analyze weekly time reports

• Monitor utilization throughout the team

• Identify undercapacity or bottlenecks

• Facilitate improved resource planning over time

• Estimation & Delivery Support

• Aid in basic project estimations

• Assist in forecasting capacity for upcoming tasks

• Support seamless transitions from sales to delivery

• Systems & Process Improvement

• Maintain ClickUp / project management systems

• Enhance workflows wherever possible

• Bring structure and consistency to internal operations

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or agency support

• Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp, Trello, Asana, or Monday

• Excellent written communication skills

• Confidence in managing multiple deadlines and engaging with various stakeholders

• Technical confidence and eagerness to learn WordPress

• Nice to have:

• Background in an agency setting

• Experience with WordPress projects

• Understanding of SEO or digital marketing processes
