Marketing Manager – New Channels Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead DoorDash’s strategy for new channels by pinpointing, evaluating, and expanding channels that foster additional new customer and MAU growth.

• Take ownership of the strategy and roadmap for a variety of new channel initiatives.

• Develop the Influencer & Affiliate program, encompassing creator recruitment, onboarding, commission frameworks, and content strategies.

• Collaborate with Engineering, MarTech, and Analytics to establish measurement and attribution systems, including deeplinking, tracking, and incrementality.

• Create and refine incentive and budget frameworks for each channel.

• Establish content and channel strategies across Rx, New Verticals, DashPass, and seasonal events.

• Ensure alignment of channel strategies with the priorities of Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance.

• Convey program performance, risks, and progress on the roadmap to cross-functional partners and senior leadership.

• Report directly to the MAU Marketing lead.

• Manage a significant marketing budget.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher; an MBA is a plus.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in performance, growth, or lifecycle marketing.

• Proven history of identifying, testing, and scaling new marketing channels from inception to execution.

• Experience with affiliate/influencer marketing, SMS, or other emerging channels.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate on and lead cross-functional workstreams involving Product, CRM, paid media, creative, analytics, and finance teams.

• Capability to work with imperfect attribution and synthesize complex data for informed decision-making.

• A creative and entrepreneurial approach to developing 0-to-1 programs with limited resources.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in managing external partner relationships and briefing senior stakeholders.

• Familiarity with affiliate networks and creator platforms such as Impact, CJ, CreatorIQ, and Tagger is advantageous.

• Understanding of build-vs-buy considerations for program infrastructure is a plus.
