This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Gather insights related to disease states and brands through personalized, one-on-one engagements with Key External Experts (KEEs).
• Organize and facilitate both regional and national advisory board meetings.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret sentiments from KEEs, monitor competitor activities, and assess broader market trends.
• Provide support for commercial-led advisory boards and third-party insight-gathering initiatives.
• Monitor KEEs' perspectives on Vera, the treatment landscape for IgAN, unmet clinical needs, and patient management strategies.
• Develop and implement plans to build advocacy among KEEs.
• Identify and nurture both established and emerging KEEs in academic and community settings.
• Foster relationships with KEEs who possess expertise in IgAN.
• Represent Vera’s commercial organization through tailored interactions and small-group meetings.
• Identify, recruit, and train members for Vera’s US Speaker Bureau.
• Create and execute plans for participation in international, national, and regional conferences and society meetings.
• Establish a peer-to-peer education platform aimed at enhancing awareness of IgAN, BAFF/APRIL, and Atacicept.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA), with preference for an MBA and/or an advanced science degree.
• Over 8 years of varied commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
• 3–5 years of preferred field experience.
• Background in biologics, gene therapies, or specialty pharmaceuticals.
• Nephrology expertise is preferred.
• Proven experience in developing and executing KEE strategies through compliant, effective, and engaging interactions.
• Demonstrated success in crafting insight-driven strategic plans and business cases with measurable positive outcomes.
• Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape and compliance requirements.
• Ability to influence others without direct authority and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Capacity to excel in a dynamic and entrepreneurial biotech environment.
• Comfortable navigating and leading in uncertain and evolving situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a strong executive presence.
