Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Create and implement comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility, acquiring policyholders, and improving retention on digital platforms.

• Supervise and carry out daily marketing activities.

• Collaborate with external agencies or team members as needed.

• Oversee budget distribution to ensure optimal return on investment (ROI).

• Evaluate performance metrics of marketing campaigns.

• Track customer acquisition costs (CAC) and customer lifetime value (LTV).

• Continuously enhance growth funnels for better performance.

• Keep abreast of trends in the insurance industry, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.

• Improve product positioning, messaging, and target customer profiles.

• Work alongside key business teams to ensure marketing initiatives accurately represent policy details and comply with industry standards.

• Guide brand messaging, public relations, and content creation to establish trust and authority within the insurance sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing experience, including direct involvement in a management, team leadership, or strategic ownership role.

• Direct experience in or a strong, demonstrable interest in the insurance, InsurTech, or financial services fields.

• Established expertise in growth marketing, budget oversight, brand strategy, and team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

• Experience using campaign management tools.

• Skilled in web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Looker.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
