Marketing Expert – Field Marketing, AI Agent Environments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create task briefs informed by real-world field marketing or event experiences.

• Determine the objectives of each task, including identifying issues and decisions that a proficient practitioner should navigate.

• Outline necessary documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states for realistic task execution.

• Draft or evaluate reference answers and criteria that differentiate strong responses from those that are plausible yet incorrect.

• Assess attempts made by AI agents and measure them against established practitioner standards.

• Engage in tasks that involve diagnosing complex or conflicting data, prioritizing tasks, managing trade-offs, planning, executing, quality assurance, reconciliation, triage, escalation, research, evaluation, reporting, and coordinating multiple tools.

• Develop scenarios that encompass event follow-up, sponsorship decisions, regional pipeline recovery, and collaborative planning against a specified account list.

• Assist in training and enhancing AI systems for Mercor's AI lab and its enterprise partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience as a practitioner in field marketing or events.

• Proven experience managing a region against sales targets, beyond just logistical execution.

• Proficient in using a CRM, such as Salesforce.

• Familiarity with project tracking tools like Asana or Linear.

• Strong preference for prior experience in developing AI training environments, reinforcement learning environments, or simulated case studies.

• Certification from Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp is highly preferred.

• Ability to articulate clear written reasoning and explain the rationale behind decisions.

• Required to complete a brief multiple-choice knowledge assessment specific to the sub-domain.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
