This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of Seqera’s demand generation and performance marketing initiatives from start to finish, ensuring accountability for results.
• Develop and implement programs that cater to various deal strategies: high-speed demand generation for lower ACV deals (generally <$50K) and more focused ABM and nurture-led initiatives for mid-market and enterprise opportunities ($50K–$500K+).
• Lead and execute essential projects across paid media, lifecycle marketing, website conversion, ABM, content, and experimentation, while guiding and nurturing the marketing team.
• Create scalable, multi-channel programs that build over time, balancing immediate pipeline requirements with long-term growth investments.
• Direct website strategy, optimize conversion rates, and enhance user experience.
• Develop advanced email nurture programs and marketing automation that facilitate both high-velocity transactions and lengthy enterprise opportunities.
• Strategize and implement an integrated events plan that includes field events, industry conferences, and proprietary events, linking event activities to pipeline creation, acceleration, and effective post-event nurturing in collaboration with Sales.
• Collaborate on Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), funnel definitions, handoffs, and forecasting. Conduct funnel health evaluations and continuously enhance deal velocity and conversion rates.
• Work collaboratively across teams to convert open-source adoption, product-led growth, and community engagement into tangible business outcomes.
• Manage dashboards, pipeline forecasting, and performance evaluations. Make decisions with incomplete data, test promptly, and iterate based on findings.
• Enhance processes, document best practices, aid in recruitment, and contribute to building a high-performing, execution-driven marketing team.
• Over 8 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a proven record of generating pipeline and revenue in sales-driven organizations, including support for mid-market and strategic enterprise accounts.
• Direct experience collaborating with Sales leadership on account strategies, funnel health, forecasting, and accelerating deals.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with demand generation and performance marketing, including paid acquisition, experimentation, budget management, and ROI analysis.
• Knowledge of how marketing aligns with various sales motions, from high-speed pipeline generation to ABM, account-based nurturing, and deal support for strategic accounts.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and constructing systems from the ground up, especially in settings where Sales and Marketing need to grow in tandem.
• Analytical and results-focused. Prioritize pipeline, revenue impact, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and payback over vanity metrics.
• Effectively communicate with Sales, RevOps, and executive leadership, utilizing data to articulate what strategies are successful, what are not, and the next steps to take.
• Enjoy playing a dual role, providing direction, engaging with tools as necessary, and mentoring others to elevate performance standards.
• Nice to have: Experience marketing to technical audiences (developers, scientists, data engineers). Background in open source, developer tools, data infrastructure, or life sciences software. Familiarity with sales-led or hybrid go-to-market models.
