This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design, implement, and actively manage a cloud-based data architecture and integrations for Global Analytics.
• Offer technical expertise in the development and maintenance of cloud-based data architecture, infrastructure, and API integrations that support BI applications and marketing analytics initiatives.
• Assess existing data and platform architectures to enhance operational efficiencies.
• Analyze projects necessary to bridge the gap between the current state and future business objectives.
• Conduct gap analysis and make recommendations for marketing analytics infrastructure and processes.
• Investigate cutting-edge marketing analytics technologies.
• Ensure that business processes, policies, and procedures are aligned with proposed system solutions.
• Maintain accuracy and transparency of metadata.
• Create and update technical documentation for systems and processes.
• Take ownership of and manage the marketing GCP environment.
• Ensure pipelines are dependable, orchestrated with Cloud Composer/Airflow, well-structured, and monitored for failures.
• Make largely independent decisions regarding solution design, architecture, and best practices to support marketing analytics outcomes.
• Develop and sustain API integrations between marketing platforms and Domo, including advertising platforms, survey tools, and other interconnected systems.
• Manage authentication, pagination, rate limiting, and error handling for integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipeline failures.
• Actively identify opportunities to enhance performance and minimize technical debt.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required, or equivalent professional experience.
• A related Master’s Degree is advantageous.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, architecture, or cloud platform management.
• Strong background in metadata management, master data management, and data governance.
• Prior experience in analytics related to business intelligence, corporate reporting metrics, dashboard systems, data warehousing, information infrastructure, and ETL processes.
• Proficient communication skills with the ability to convey complex analyses to marketing stakeholders.
• Capable of articulating strategic direction and tactical actions to Professional/Management Levels, IT teams, and marketing stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate with marketing program owners to identify business needs and requirements, translating them into research and reporting specifications.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks based on high-level guidance.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Solid experience with ETL processes.
• Understanding of cloud-based information systems.
• Proficiency in data management tools.
• Strong database design and data maintenance capabilities.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Effective presentation abilities.
