This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversees the staff within the Marketing Department.
• Manages the departmental budget while integrating cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborates with leadership to identify insights and strategies for developing and executing marketing and branding initiatives for both new and existing products.
• Comprehends essential marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analysis, campaign outcomes, and consumer trends, translating results into actionable insights for the organization.
• Directs marketing communications through digital platforms, social media, mobile marketing, and CRM to enhance brand visibility, attract new consumers, and boost order frequency.
• Utilizes customer insights, competitive analysis, and market trend data to adapt to evolving market and competitive landscapes.
• Collaborates with the Sales team to formulate strategies that support sales efforts through both traditional and digital marketing initiatives.
• Ensures the brand’s product offerings remain relevant by continually assessing ingredients, product formulations, and trends in partnership with the product development team.
• Identifies, develops, and implements process improvements within the marketing function while expanding the marketing team to support business growth.
• Develops and oversees all direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing initiatives, encompassing online sales, tasting room promotions, expansions, and marketing programs.
• Creates and executes strategies aimed at enhancing brand awareness, driving traffic, and increasing sales.
• Designs training programs that ensure consistent brand messaging from the Marketing and Sales teams across email, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
• Plans product launches, seasonal campaigns, and special promotions tailored to specific consumer segments.
• Maintains brand integrity, education, and history across all consumer touchpoints.
• Works in collaboration with the CEO, Accounting, HR, and Sales teams to guarantee that all marketing, labeling, and promotional materials comply with compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required; MBA is preferred.
• Experience in the Cider, Beer, and Spirits industry is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant marketing experience is required.
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a talent for motivating others.
• Proven track record of effective marketing strategies that develop brands for small businesses with a grassroots approach.
• Public Relations experience with established relationships.
• Proficient in understanding and interpreting syndicated market data and internal sales data to convert that information into actionable marketing strategies.
• Highly developed communication skills, including strong analytical abilities, a proactive approach, and the capacity to take initiative.
