Marketing Automation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Act as the main administrator for our marketing automation platform and customer contact database, engaging with over 200,000 contacts annually.

• Collaborate on strategies to support various business segments within a single Marketo instance, setting best practices for workspace organization and management.

• Conduct regular database maintenance to ensure data accuracy, which includes cleansing, removing, and refreshing contacts to uphold overall system health.

• Create targeted segments and lists to bolster marketing campaigns and customer outreach efforts.

• Align marketing automation technologies to uphold robust governance within the current environment and future environments across GE Vernova.

• Oversee data flow between Marketo and the global CRM instance, assisting in troubleshooting lead routing and scoring issues across diverse sales territories.

• Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) by implementing consent management workflows and subscription preferences.

• Utilize AI and Lean methodologies to consistently simplify and enhance marketing automation processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

• Collaborate with global IT, Sales Operations, and regional Marketing teams to ensure alignment on lead handoff processes, SLA tracking, and overall funnel transparency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations or a comparable role emphasizing database management.

• Strong understanding of marketing automation programs and familiarity with the Marketo CRM system, including knowledge of data flow between marketing and sales platforms.

• Foundational knowledge of global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CASL, CCPA, etc.) and experience in managing consent and subscription preferences.

• Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving project requirements.

• Fluency in English and the ability to work primarily in the US EST time zone to facilitate collaboration with our global teams.
