This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Develop and nurture mutually beneficial relationships between Intermountain Health and both internal and external stakeholders.

• Conduct research, plan, produce, coordinate, and convey key messages, initiatives, policies, programs, and other activities.

• Plan, research, compose, edit, proofread, produce, and disseminate print and digital communications.

• Ensure timely delivery of communications while staying within budget constraints.

• Assess and measure communications effectiveness, utilizing communication technology, creativity, and technical precision to guarantee quality deliverables.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and team leaders on strategic planning for the department and specific projects.

• Contribute to designated teams or sub-functions.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on responsibilities and priority projects.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in communications, media relations, journalism, public relations, or a related field.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities and project management skills.

• Capability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.

• Knowledge of communication metrics and analytics tools.

• A minimum of three years of writing, interviewing, and editing experience is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, English, business, or a related communications-focused major is preferred; the degree must be from an accredited institution.

• At least two years of experience in communications, media relations, journalism, public relations, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in healthcare communications is preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret information and identify equipment and supplies.

• Capacity to verbally communicate and comprehend spoken information quickly and accurately.

• Manual dexterity to handle complex and delicate equipment.

• Frequent use of computers for typing and information access.
