This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• We are looking for a Marketing Analytics Director to spearhead the advancement of our marketing data infrastructure and enhance the analytical capabilities of the entire marketing team.
• This pivotal position is designed for a builder-practitioner who operates at the crossroads of Data Science, Marketing Strategy, GTM, and AI Operations.
• You won’t simply provide reports on the funnel; you will create the systems that enhance the skills of every analyst on this team, including the AI agents themselves.
• As the Marketing Analytics Director, you will serve as the primary architect of our data-driven growth engine, linking overarching strategy with sophisticated technical implementation.
• You will transcend traditional reporting to establish a self-sustaining marketing ecosystem, utilizing Google BigQuery, Grafana, and agentic AI to develop a unified source of truth and foster a culture of analytical excellence.
• Your mission is to significantly impact demand generation across the entire marketing funnel while elevating the standards for how analytical work is produced, scrutinized, and delivered throughout the organization.
• You will design a dual-track target-setting framework that balances rapid top-of-funnel growth with deep-funnel quality, ensuring GTM resources are focused on high-converting user cohorts optimized for Grafana adoption and long-term retention.
• You will be responsible for engineering the foundational data schemas, creating predictive models, and implementing the BI frameworks that influence our global GTM strategy.
• Over 8 years of experience in Marketing Analytics, GTM Strategy, or Data Science, with a minimum of 2 years in a lead architect role (individual contributor track or player-coach; people management not necessary) within a high-growth SaaS or PLG setting.
• Proven track record as a force multiplier. You can cite specific tools, rituals, evaluator systems, or frameworks you developed that significantly improved the performance of other analysts or the broader organization. A collection of dashboards you created is not adequate.
• Data Science and Engineering: Proficiency in SQL and Python is required. Extensive experience in architecting data environments in Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar data warehouses.
• Hands-on AI expertise as a builder, not merely a user. You have developed and deployed agentic systems using Claude Code, MCP, or similar technologies. You comprehend the limitations of LLMs and how to design around them. You have created evaluator agents, prompt-grading systems, or analytical quality tools in production.
• Automation Expertise: Practical experience in constructing complex logic and integrations using N8N, custom API orchestration, or MCP-based tools.
• Visualization and BI: Advanced skills in modern data stack visualization tools (Grafana, Looker, Tableau) to create executive-level dashboards.
• Strategic Insight: Demonstrated capability to impose structure in highly ambiguous situations and develop target-setting frameworks from the ground up.
• MarTech Ecosystem: Extensive knowledge of the interactions between Salesforce, marketing automation, and product-led data streams.
• Executive presence with experience presenting to executive and board members, accompanied by sound judgment regarding what data is appropriate to share with upper management.
