This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Take proactive measures to manage and follow up on both inbound and outbound leads generated via Salesforce and other platforms.
• Assess prospects based on established criteria (budget, needs, timing, decision-makers) and decide on the appropriate next steps.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates are recorded in Salesforce to maintain visibility and integrity of the sales pipeline.
• Seek new business opportunities and engage local customers through outbound calls, emails, and targeted outreach efforts.
• Manage deals from initial contact through to closure.
• Cultivate a thorough understanding of customer requirements and position solutions effectively.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to assist with larger or more complex opportunities.
• Efficiently transfer qualified opportunities that surpass deal size or complexity thresholds.
• Work together with marketing, sales operations, and other internal teams to enhance lead quality and conversion rates.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline that aligns with monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
• Monitor activity levels, conversion rates, and outcomes to foster continuous performance improvement.
• Achieve or surpass individual sales and activity targets.
• 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, sales development, account management, or a related commercial field.
• Familiarity with working in a CRM environment, ideally Salesforce.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify leads, and close smaller deals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging customers in a professional and persuasive manner.
• Highly organized with effective follow-up and time management abilities.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, metrics-focused environment.
