This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Driving revenue growth by cultivating relationships with brokers and clients.

• Utilizing expertise in self-funded, ASO, and ancillary benefit products to craft customized sales strategies.

• Consistently meeting sales targets while providing exceptional service to brokers, clients, and business partners.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of demonstrated success in surpassing sales goals in health benefits, particularly in self-funded and ASO markets.
• Active industry licensing required, or the ability to obtain and maintain it; a license must be secured within 90 days of hire with company support.
• In-depth knowledge of benefits insurance (broker or carrier side) as well as the self-funding and stop-loss reinsurance markets.
• Experience in explaining third-party, self-insured benefits, including medical and flexible spending accounts, minimum essential coverage, and other ancillary products such as various types of stop-loss insurance.
• Familiarity with sales promotion techniques; strong negotiation and presentation skills, including proficiency in RFP/RFI responses, financial analysis, underwriting collaboration, and contract negotiations.
• Capability to create, present, and finalize marketing plans.
• Willingness to travel frequently to client or prospect locations is essential.
• Must possess reliable transportation; a valid driver’s license may be a requirement.
• Strong proficiency in standard computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external customers.
• Capacity to work effectively within a team to achieve set objectives.
• Understanding of others' roles and fostering an environment of mutual responsibility for success.
