This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as Silvus’ primary representative to the U.S. Navy, influencing demand across NAVWAR, PEO C4I, OPNAV staffs, Fleet Forces Command, Warfare Centers, and operational Fleet elements.
• Drive Navy capability development in alignment with DMO, Naval Operational Architecture, and JADC2.
• Establish Silvus Technologies as essential enablers for resilient afloat, ship-to-ship, ship-to-shore, and distributed maritime networking.
• Ensure alignment between Silvus capabilities and Navy networking priorities.
• Engage proactively in experimentation, prototyping, and concept development.
• Foster advocacy among senior Navy leaders, requirements officers, and program managers.
• Function as the senior “market anchor” for the U.S. Navy, coordinating a collaborative pursuit model across Business Development, DoD Account Sales, and OEM/Prime Sales.
• Align and collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Product, Capture, Executive Leadership) to provide cohesive messaging and pursuit strategy for key programs.
• Collaborate with Motorola Solutions and MSI Government Affairs to align advocacy and policy outreach efforts.
• Ensure a disciplined transition of identified opportunities.
• Deliver ongoing market insights to Silvus leadership—tracking trends in Navy network modernization, tactical communications, and EW/spectrum management.
• Identify and nurture emerging opportunities for sustainable revenue growth.
• Represent Silvus at Navy, DoD, and industry events to promote thought leadership and build institutional support for Silvus’ MN-MIMO waveform and Spectrum Dominance technology.
• Create and implement the U.S. Navy Market Development Plan, outlining shaping objectives, key relationships, and pursuit milestones in collaboration with US Navy Sales/BD stakeholders.
• Contribute to Silvus’ pipeline expansion by ensuring multi-year program opportunities are recognized and developed towards Business Development hand-off.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• At least 8 years of proven experience in strategic relationship management, account management, or government relations within the defense sector.
• Senior-level experience within the Navy or supporting organizations in modernization, C5ISR, tactical communications, or spectrum/EW applications.
• Established, verified network of contacts at senior levels within the U.S. Navy (NAVWAR, OPNAV, PEO C4I, Fleet commands, etc.).
• Outstanding executive-level communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong capabilities in strategic planning and "big picture" thinking.
• Competence to operate autonomously and establish trust as a credible advisor.
• Security Clearance: Current U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the capacity to obtain one within 12 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to client contracts with the U.S. government.
