Market Development Agronomist Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct research and perform analysis to enhance seed and crop protection products.

• Collaborate with the local team on a project that is critical to the business.

• Provide agronomic insights to assist the Market Development Agronomist and sales team in executing sales strategies.

• Help advance WinField United seed and crop protection products.

• Engage in a hands-on, purpose-driven internship with opportunities for networking and facility tours.

• Acquire skills through a project designed to influence career growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Sophomore or Junior undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Ag Systems Technology, Digital Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

• Required GPA of 3.0 or above.

• Interest in pursuing an advanced degree in Agronomy, Crop Sciences, or a related field (preferred).

• Enthusiasm for technical agronomy and the aspiration to become a subject matter expert (preferred).

• Previous experience in sales or agricultural retail, emphasizing customer interaction (preferred).

• Familiarity with the agricultural retail system (preferred).

• Strong communication, writing, and critical thinking abilities (preferred).

• Capable of managing time, prioritizing tasks, and executing projects effectively (preferred).

• Resourceful and innovative in problem-solving (preferred).

• Adaptable and flexible to changes in the business environment (preferred).

• Availability for an 11-week internship from May through August 2027.

• Willingness to travel throughout the summer.
