Marine Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve issues related to integration and installation, taking ownership of problem resolution and documenting the outcomes.

• Continuously enhance installation and integration processes (e.g., IQA, OEM integration, product selection).

• Utilize engineering tools and systems (Advisor, COLS, GCE) to facilitate accurate and high-quality technical decisions.

• Collaborate and engage in negotiations with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and VPI teams to provide product data and installation requirements.

• Make decisions regarding product selection, design, and integration that impact OEM performance, quality, and optimization.

• Act as the primary technical liaison for customers, overseeing specifications, modifications, and issue resolution.

• Convert customer requirements and feedback into functional product and system specifications.

• Validate prototypes and installation quality to ensure proper product application and installation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field from a college, university, or equivalent institution is required.

• A post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline may be necessary for certain positions.

• This role may necessitate licensing to comply with export controls or sanctions regulations.

• Entry-level/Early career professionals are encouraged to apply. Preferred candidates will have relevant experience in a temporary student employment context (internship, co-op, or other extracurricular team activities) or as early career professionals in a related technical field. Familiarity with MS Office tools is also preferred.
