This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Evaluate customer RFQs, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Select appropriate suppliers based on their manufacturing processes, capabilities, and capacities
• Engage directly with manufacturers including CNC, sheet metal fabrication, casting, molding, etc.
• Analyze supplier strengths, quality standards, lead times, and pricing strategies
• Assist in the onboarding and assessment of new manufacturing partners
• Contribute to the execution of Trustbridge’s manufacturing expansion plans in India and Southeast Asia
• Map out regional manufacturing capabilities and cost structures
• Foster long-term supplier relationships through regular communication
• Identify practical challenges in RFQ reviews, quoting processes, and supplier coordination
• Provide structured feedback to product and design teams
• Help establish operational tools such as CRM entries, RFQ tracking systems, and supplier databases
• Serve as a coordination point among customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Maintain clear communication with global stakeholders via calls and email
• Support initiatives for supplier outreach and partnership development
• A background in Mechanical Engineering is essential (graduate, final-year student, or recent graduate)
• A solid grasp of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, fabrication, casting, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings comfortably
• Proficient in spoken and written English, as supplier and internal communication are crucial aspects of the role
• A proactive approach with a readiness to take ownership and execute tasks independently
• Preferred: MBA student or recent MBA graduate
• Prior experience in manufacturing, sourcing, supply chain, or B2B sales is beneficial
• Experience dealing with vendors, factories, or machine shops is a plus
• A keen interest in startups, marketplaces, and cross-border manufacturing
• Gain insights into global manufacturing sourcing and supplier strategies
• Contribute to the establishment of Trustbridge’s long-term presence in Asia
• Work on actual customer RFQs rather than simulations or case studies
• Learn directly from seasoned founders and industry operators
• Exceptional performance may lead to opportunities for a full-time position or an extended role
