Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and improve both new and existing products and product lines.

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and feedback to formulate product concepts using 3D CAD.

• Assess and recommend specifications, ensuring products fulfill both technical and functional requirements.

• Suggest and implement reliable, efficient, and cost-effective procedures.

• Generate technical drawings and manufacturable designs, including installation drawings and supporting documentation for field installation.

• Conduct feasibility, functional, and quality testing of designs.

• Collaborate with Project Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other engineering teams.

• Align designs with production capabilities and compliance standards.

• Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are adhered to.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience is mandatory.

• At least 5 years of relevant product design experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.

• Proficient in 3D CAD software and PDM Software, preferably AutoDesk Inventor and AutoDesk Vault.

• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques, particularly in steel and sheet metal environments.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Willingness to accommodate occasional weekend or evening work as needed.

• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities.
