Manual QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate new features and confirm bug resolutions

• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing

• Develop and manage test cases, checklists, and additional QA documentation

• Review requirements and prepare test scenarios prior to development completion

• Test REST APIs utilizing Swagger or Postman

• Validate data using SQL

• Reproduce reported issues and collaborate with developers to identify root causes

• Engage in refinement meetings and release testing

• Assist in enhancing testing methodologies and expanding overall test coverage

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manual QA

• Proficient in testing web applications

• Familiar with Salesforce

• Strong grasp of the software testing lifecycle

• Solid understanding of test design methodologies

• Experience in creating test documentation from the ground up

• Knowledge of Jira and TestRail or comparable tools

• Acquainted with browser DevTools

• Experience in testing REST APIs

• Fundamental SQL knowledge

• Familiarity with database testing using Postgres and MySQL

• Experience with CI/CD tools

• Basic understanding of Git

• Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Proficient in English for daily interactions

• Experience testing intricate enterprise applications

• Nice to have: basic knowledge of automation testing with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools

• Nice to have: experience with Linux
