Manual QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Evaluate new features and confirm bug resolutions.

• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.

• Develop and update test cases, checklists, and other quality assurance documentation.

• Assess requirements and formulate test scenarios prior to the completion of development.

• Test REST APIs utilizing Swagger or Postman.

• Validate data using SQL.

• Reproduce reported problems and collaborate with developers to identify root causes.

• Engage in refinement sessions and participate in release testing.

• Contribute to enhancing testing processes and broadening overall test coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manual QA.

• Background in testing web applications.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.

• Solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle.

• Proficient knowledge of test design methodologies.

• Experience in generating test documentation from the ground up.

• Practical experience with Jira and TestRail or comparable tools.

• Knowledge of browser DevTools.

• Experience in testing REST APIs.

• Basic understanding of SQL.

• Experience in database testing with Postgres and MySQL.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.

• Basic knowledge of Git.

• Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in English for everyday communication.

• Experience in testing intricate enterprise applications.

• Nice to have: foundational knowledge of automation testing with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or related tools.

• Nice to have: experience with Linux.
