Manual QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing of new features and confirm the resolution of bugs.

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.

• Develop and uphold test cases, checklists, and other quality assurance documentation.

• Examine requirements and prepare testing scenarios prior to the completion of development.

• Test REST APIs utilizing Swagger or Postman.

• Validate data using SQL.

• Replicate reported issues and collaborate with developers to identify root causes.

• Engage in refinement sessions and participate in release testing.

• Contribute to enhancing testing processes and broadening overall test coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Manual QA.

• Proficient in testing web applications.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.

• Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle.

• In-depth knowledge of test design methodologies.

• Experience in creating test documentation from the ground up.

• Proficient in using Jira and TestRail or equivalent tools.

• Knowledge of browser DevTools.

• Experience in testing REST APIs.

• Basic proficiency in SQL.

• Experience in database testing with Postgres and MySQL.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.

• Basic understanding of Git.

• Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.

• Sufficient English proficiency for daily interactions.

• Experience in testing complex enterprise applications.

• Nice to have: foundational knowledge of automation testing using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.

• Nice to have: experience with Linux.
