Mandate Lead (Fiduciary), CFO for Digital SMEs & Startups

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• You will be accountable for managing your own client mandates, both in a professional and interpersonal capacity.

• Providing advisory services to SME and startup clients as an external CFO and lead on mandates.

• Overseeing project management of client engagements within finance and governance frameworks, which includes ESOP implementation, establishing controls, rulings, restructurings, and optimizing processes.

• Cultivating and managing client relationships, including handling year-end closings and tax submissions.

• Your current workload will be balanced between project management and mandate leadership, approximately 50/50.

• Offering technical guidance and leadership to colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A robust educational background in finance (university degree, certified auditor/WP, STEX or equivalent).

• Several years of hands-on experience with mandate responsibilities, including year-end closing, tax matters, and direct client interactions.

• Extensive experience in supporting entrepreneurs through complex scenarios such as financing rounds, restructurings, or matters related to OR 725 (Article 725 of the Swiss Code of Obligations).

• Strong digital proficiency.

• A personality that exhibits leadership qualities and a passion for engaging directly with clients.
