This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the advertising lead for a substantial portfolio of major clients, collaborating with client leads, managers, and various departments to craft advertising strategies that enhance our clients’ online fundraising and engagement.
• Oversee departmental staff and contribute to improving departmental operations. This includes conducting performance reviews, fostering employee development, and making recommendations regarding raises, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Take the lead in establishing best practices for ad copy and formulating innovative advertising strategies for clients.
• Generate and develop creative concepts for our clients, ensuring content is written, fact-checked, and proofread accurately.
• Guarantee that all content reflects the authentic and honest voice of the client, ensuring each program is tailored to the individual client.
• Set up and monitor ads and advertising budgets using platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, Switchboard, Scale to Win, and others as required.
• Optimize digital ads across advertising platforms and provide performance reports.
• Foster a collaborative culture that enhances our overall work quality.
• Produce professional memos and maintain both internal and external reporting.
• Collaborate with designers, email strategists, and vendor partners to address client needs as necessary.
• Lead client communications by generating professional reports and memos.
• Respond promptly to current events by assisting in drafting ads that react to rapidly developing news stories.
• Conceptualize creative ideas for our clients, ensuring content is fact-checked and proofread prior to client release.
• Stay informed about digital trends and new tools to provide cutting-edge recommendations to clients based on best practices.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• A solid understanding of relevant issues and a passion for electing Democratic candidates and advancing the progressive movement.
• Experience in executing large-scale digital advertising initiatives for campaigns and causes.
• Extensive knowledge of advertising platforms such as Facebook and Google Ads, texting platforms like Switchboard, and CRMs like NGP and ActionKit.
• Capability to plan and implement advertising campaigns for clients, including ongoing campaign tracking and optimization within platforms.
• Proven experience in developing and executing strategies for clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and/or training in managing and mentoring others.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Significant experience in client management, copywriting, and digital advertising campaigns.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel, and a keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed for urgent responses.
• Desire to learn and self-educate.
